The film follows a law school graduate and a struggling dance instructor (Aponte) whose lives collide at a pivotal moment. As an old romance is rekindled, the pair must navigate the complex hurdles of family expectations and cultural challenges that threaten to keep them apart.

Raquel Aponte’s career spans film, television, and theatre. Known for her leading roles in Never and Emma’s Christmas, as well as supporting turns in Fearless and Ruby, she has refined her craft under the tutelage of industry veterans like Hank Stone and Kimberly Saunders. Beyond her work in front of the lens, the Miami-based actor is expanding her footprint into directing and development, having recently served as an Assistant Director on various music video projects.
